Question: Describe about the Informatics Technological Evolution. Answer: Introduction After the technological evolution some of the organizations are struggling to exist in the new world. Digitization has become central to organization as various challenges ad forces helps in transforming the value of the business drivers and thus helps in propelling organization towards the technological development (Nagne et al. 2014). The assignment identifies and discusses the various tools corporation, various roles of strategic alignment between goals and objectives and the technology, benefits of data management and requirement of organization to adopt web2 and web3 technologies. The paper also discusses the threats that the organizations faces due to complex and dynamic technological environment. Identification and discussion of Tools Corporation The tools corporations are mainly used for analyzing as well as understanding the various competitive environment in which they operate. The porters five forces help in identifying and analyzing the five competitive forces, which is helpful in shaping the industry (Dobbs 2014). It also helps in determining the different strengths and weakness of the company. The porters forces are very much useful in measuring the intensity of competition, attractiveness and profitability that various industries gain. The forces include: Competition in the organization: The competition increases when the number of competitors rises and they are capable of threatening an organization (Porter and Heppelmann 2014). The power of a company is dictated by the number of competitors along with the number of services and products offered by the company. If the suppliers and buyers are unable to get a proper deal then they seek out of the competition of the buyer. Potential of new entrants into the industry: The power of a company is also affected by the number of new entrants in the market (Monteith et al. 2013). The position of a company becomes weak if it is very much easy for a company to enter the market. Power of the suppliers: This force helps in addressing the power of suppliers for driving up the process of various goods and services (Dobbs 2014). The power of a supplier is more if the companies have fewer numbers of suppliers and they are more dependent on the supplier for the production of goods. Threats of substitute Products: The substitution of a competitor can be used if the product and services of an organization creates threat. Analyzing the various roles of strategic alignment The strategic alignment framework helps in developing various types of leadership principles in order to guide the organization in various competitive as well as lean environments (Gerow et al. 2015). The six simple as well as strong principles of leadership are dependent on operational research. The principles include: Leadership: Leadership is one of the unique characteristics of strategic alignment and thus helps in motivating leaders for performing various types of jobs (Song et al. 2012). It is considered as one of the key factors for enhancing the success of an organization. Agility: Agility in an organization is dependent on two factors, which includes strategic planning and bureaucracy. Empowerment: The strategic alignment helps in providing empowerment to each individual so that every individual can appreciate to make a difference (Gerow et al. 2015). Result Orientation: In larger organizations, many people lose the track and faces difficulty in understanding the expectations of the company (Walter et al. 2013). With the help of the strategic alignment, focus is created on the employees of the organization. Leadership helps in proper communication, empowering, in embracing various changes and many more. Adaptability: Empathy as well as adaptability is the indispensable trait for understanding and adapting great varieties of diversities which includes behavior diversity, cultural diversity and many more (Song et al. 2012). Common Sense Attitude: Common sense attitude as well as behavior helps people in achieving more fun and they take ownership in order to develop exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Procedures for improvement of the alignment The strategies that help in improving the strategic alignment between the IT and business functions of an organization are as follows: Establishment of strong working relationship and trust: The IT managers can achieve trust and respect by various business executives by consistently delivering the commitments made. The role of IT: The role of an IT helps an organization in developing different types of innovative services and products (Walter et al. 2013). The plan of the IT department includes several high tech initiatives for achieving the goals and objectives of the organization. The various importance of IT governance: IT governance creates a framework that helps in aligning the IT strategies of organization with the help of various types of business strategies (Song et al. 2012). It helps in ensuring and extending the overall mission and goals of the organization. Benefits of data management There are advantages of data management including business intelligence that helps an organization to encapsulate data for converting it into the knowledge. The benefits of data management are as follows: Elimination of Redundancy: Redundancy can occur if every customer or functional department maintains data and information (Beagrie and Pink 2012). One of the most important benefits that are achieved with the help of data management is removing the redundancy of data thus making it centrally located with the help of coherence and specification. Data consistency: The data management system helps in providing guarantee for the consistency of data, which helps in making the working easier, and pruning redundancy, confusion thus it helps in creating easier as well as consistent workflow (Huang and Handfield 2015). Flexibility: The flexibility of data increase by using the data management system as it helps in data storage, availability of various changes and usages are very much easier to manage. Business Efficiency: A data management system helps in making the use of data easier in various business operations, thus increasing the operational and business efficiency (Huang and Handfield 2015). Requirement of organization to adopt web2 and web3 technologies The internet is influencing the lives of human beings and web 2 is considered as the industrial revolution for understanding the significance of various applications. It provides facilities for the growth of the business, which includes: Social Networking: It helps in enabling the largest migration of human beings around the world (Lane and Campbell 2013). It represents one of the most important components for reshaping business, marketing and many more. Blogs: The bog helps in explaining things and it is very much influential for breaking out anonymity. Web Services: It helps in enabling as well as using the flow of data from one online service to another (Martini et al. 2016). System integration is mainly used for various protocols and technologies that help in enabling evolution from various software services. One of the most important benefit of web3 is that data can be accessed from anywhere with its help. This is generally driven by the large uses of cloud applications and smart phones. It helps a in assessing as much data as required by the user (Martini et al. 2016).Technology is trying their best for expanding the ideas of user data for allowing various types of Smartphone access on the computer. Accessing data helps increasing the rate of information and data collected by the organization, which is helpful in providing faster service to the customers and clients by the organization. Threats that the organizations faces due to dynamic technological environment Technological dimension refers to the method of converting the various resources into finished goods by using new innovative machines. The technology which is applied includes inventions and various improvements of existing machines, methods and materials. This is helpful in solving various threats that organization faces (Marres 2016). This means storage of various organized knowledge of doing things with the help of mechanical technique rather using manual process. The technological field is helpful in influencing various methods of work, design of production as well as various types of improved services. The threats include Reduction in the prices of goods and services (Wilden et al. 2013). The productivity of an organization is enhanced with the help of innovative technologies which encourages large scale production of goods and services but due to increased availability of products the price of products and services decreases. Thus the profitability of an organization gets affected. Conclusion It can be concluded that various business strategies and operations are empowered by the convergence of mobile, social, big data analytics and many more. It is analyzed that the porters forces are very much useful in determining the intensity of struggle, desirability and effectiveness that various industries gain. The assignment also illustrates that the strategic alignment framework helps in increasing various types of management principles in order to monitor the organization in various modest as well as lean environments.
